Reservation and cancellation policies

As a definitive confirmation and guarantee of the reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total stay (amount equivalent to 1 night for stays of less than 3 nights) will be required to be credited to your credit card or via bank transfer within 3 days from the date of booking. In case of non-receipt of the deposit by the specified dates, the reservation is void.

Any cancellation of reservation must be communicated in writing. Please refer to your booking confirmation for cancellation conditions. In the event of cancellation or changes made up to 7 days before the scheduled arrival date, no charge will be incurred, and the deposit will be refunded. For cancellations or changes beyond this deadline, the cost of the first night will be charged to the credit card provided as guarantee for each canceled room for stays up to 3 nights, while for longer stays, 50% of the total amount of the booked stay will be charged.

This cancellation policy is not valid for the Non-Refundable rate (in this case, the reservation amount will be charged at the time of booking and will not be refunded in case of cancellation). It is possible to arrange for any recovery of the stay, with times and methods indicated by the hotel.

REASON FOR PAYMENT: “DEPOSIT FOR STAY FROM DAY …… TO DAY…….”

Pre-authorization:
Hotel Cavalluccio Marino reserves the right to check the validity of the credit card before the customer’s arrival by requesting pre-authorization from the relevant circuit. With pre-authorization, the hotel ensures the temporary availability of the total amount of the stay, or part of it, to ensure that the credit card is valid. NO AMOUNT IS CHARGED. The pre-authorization automatically expires after 20 days from the requested date, and the amount is released. In case of pre-authorization with a negative outcome, the customer will be notified, and the reservation will be canceled. In this case, the hotel will have no obligation towards the customer.

NoShow: 
In case of no-show, the deposit will be retained, or the cost of the first night will be charged to the credit card provided as guarantee.

As per the new regulations in force, payments over 3,000 euros can ONLY be made with all credit cards, debit cards, and advance bank transfers but not in cash. For amounts exceeding 3,600.00 euros, as per the new tax regulations, we kindly request your tax code to be included in the relevant receipt.
